Where Forging Alloys & Centrifugal Force Come Together
Since 1905 Johnson Centrifugal Technology (JCT) has been supplying mission critical metal castings components for a wide range of industries. Taking advantage of rapid solidification under high pressure, JCT has developed a series of alloys meeting the chemical and mechanical requirements for many of the most challenging specifications.
There is no rust on this rust-belt company!
Though well over 100 years old, JCT has continually embraced emerging technology and unique alloy compositions, and is now the only facility in the US to offer vertical centrifugal castings in Bronze, Copper/Brass, Aluminum, Custom Nickel and Stainless Steel.

Why Centrifugal Castings?
By solidifying uniformly under high pressure, centrifugal castings combine the chemical and mechanical property capability of forgings with the cost efficiency of traditional castings. Furthermore, the defect-free tight grain structure of centrifugal castings makes them well suited for pressure containing and anodized applications.
JCT optimizes this technology with custom chemistry, versatile casting, and complete machining capabilities.
JCT Core Capabilties
- One-stop-shop: The ability to provide both the casting and nearly any machined condition without leaving our facility.
- Collaboration: We work directly with your engineers to provide the best manufacturability available.
- Machining: With our state-of-the-art machining facility we can supply anything from as cast dims, rough machined, to finish to customer drawings and finish machined to print.
- Alloy expertise and testing: In-house metallurgical expertise and complete certified NDT testing capabilities.
- Custom Chemistries: As a primary melter of alloys we can custom tailor chemistries to optimize electrical or mechanical properties, or anodizing or corrosion response characteristics.
- Fast delivery: Castings do not require billet or custom tooling in most cases.
